Summer Series Changes

OFFICIAL CHANGE IN CORA SIs

14 May 2013, 1130.  In effect until further notice.

Per rule 4 of the CORA SIs, the following changes are made to the SIs.

  • All courses "START" and "FINISH" are modified such that "CYC dock" is replaced by "Waterfront Park dock".
  • The course lenghts will be increased by .8 miles.
Discussion:

We are making this change because CYC docks are still under construction and unavailable for use.  CYC expects the docks to be ready in early June.

Femme Fatale

Ladies, get ready to strut your stuff.  Sunday, May 19th is the Femme Fatale Race.  This is one of two CORA races where its "ladies only" on the helm.

The after party will be at Fuel (on Rutledge & Cannon) beginning at 1600.

Practice Race Wednesday

CORA is trying something different with this practice race (not part of Summer Series I).  Bring a skipper new to CORA.  We're trying to get all those unsailed boats at City Marina, Cooper River Marina, and Patriots Point out on the race course.  If you know one of their owners, please invite them to sail (skipper) with you this Wednesday.
